Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team. As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their hotel reservations and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will be crucial in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our hotels.
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist guests with making hotel reservations, modifications, and cancellations
- Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities
- Process payments and verify guest information
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and promotions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest requests are met
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required-will train the right person
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is a plus
- skills (English/Spanish) are advantageous but not required
- Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
